The Translational Health Communication Research Scholar Award will be presented at the Gala Awards Dinner at the end of Day 1 of the conference, March 29th, 2013. The award winner will be invited to speak at the luncheon about his or her translational research program and its implications for health communication practices and policies.
We welcome nominations (including self-nominations) for the Translational Health Communication Research Scholar Award. To nominate a candidate for this award please describe in a nomination letter the important program of health communication research conducted by the nominee and the influences of the nominee’s research program on health communication practices and/or policies. Please indicate the contributions the nominee’s research program has made for promoting health and well-being. All nominations should include a copy of the nominee’s full current CV (including full citations for all publications).
Nominations will be evaluated by members of the DCHC conference Executive Advisory Board.
