  4. Nominated to serve on the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) Risk Communication Advisory Committee, 2007.

  5. Selected as a Guest Speaker and White Paper Author for the Culturally Appropriate Health Care  workshop held by the Israel National Institute for Health Policy and Health Services Research, Tel Aviv, Israel, October, 2007.

Serve on the Board of Directors of patientINFORM, a collaborative nonprofit public service organization committed to patient education and empowerment supported by trusted and experienced patient health organizations, medical societies, health information professionals, and scholarly and medical publishers.
